Watching "Barefoot Gen" was a profound and disturbing experience. It reminded me of the great and painful film Grave of the Fireflies . I thoroughly recommend both of them. How could anyone ever consider building, let alone dropping an atomic bomb?It will never make sense to me.

i LOVE Grave of the Fireflies...i can't help but cry everytime i watch it. it is one of my all-time favorite anime movies (tied w/ totoro).
